Star Powersports LLC, Ducati of Knoxville a small business in Knoxville, TN. We are professional, agile and our goal is to Provide prompt, dependable, high quality motorcycle service to (internal & external) customers. Complete repair work within the scheduled or allotted time period whenever possible.
Maintain productivity (time spent working on billable jobs) as close to 100% as possible. Perform service, repair and customization work in accordance to factory specifications. Notify Service Writer/Manager of additional work needed or any delays in expected completion as soon as they become know so that the customer may be contacted and notified of the delay.
Assist Service Writer, when requested, with writing up work orders, communicating with customers, test riding, or any other issue which will help ensure customer satisfaction. After the job is finished, ensure proper completion of the repair order with parts added to adviser. Maintain technical qualification by completing any necessary training programs assigned to you by the Service Manager. Keep work areas as clean as possible and assist others with maintaining shop cleanliness.

We're looking for a customer service-oriented and extremely knowledgeable technician to join our team. The ideal candidate has a background in product development, testing and software and is capable of identifying and troubleshooting customer issues in a timely manner. An ideal candidate for this position will have extensive experience in Motorcycle mechanics. Ideal candidate will already have a Ducati Tech Cert and have been to the training in CA.
Responsibilities:
- Clean equipment and facilities.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting problems with motorcycle drop offs.
- Maintaining a clear and clutter free work area.
- Accountability of all specialty tools that are provided.
- Show up on time everyday as well as be in correct uniform.
Qualifications
- Strong automotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledge
- Proficient in using hand and power tools for vehicle maintenance and repair
- Experience with brake repair and assembly tasks
- Familiarity with customer service and sales in a dealership environment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work with suspension systems
- Relevant experience in automotive repair, including soldering and welding skills.
- Must have own tools to get started.

Pay: $20.00 - $60.00 per hour
