Job Description: Extrusion Operator
Location: Trivalence Technologies- Evansville, IN, 47711
Objective
The Extrusion Tech I, II, III performs all tasks involved in the operation of the extrusion equipment as it relates to the Company’s finished product. This position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.
Essential Functions
While performing the duties of this role, the associate is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. The associate may be exposed to extreme heat during the summer months and extreme cold in the winter months. The associate is regularly required to talk and hear. The associate frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. This role involves lifting up to 30 pounds multiple time throughout the day and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Position Type/Hours Of Work
This is a full-time hourly position. This role may be required to work any shift with overtime and weekend hours as needed.

- Set up and operate extrusion/injection molding equipment
- Fill machine hopper with correct material
- Adjust machine parameters with required dimensions to obtain desired product
- Inspect product for visual defects
- Clean extruder and downstream equipment
- Observe machine operations and gauges to detect any defective material or machine malfunctions
- Accurately complete all required paperwork
- Operate forklifts as required
- Adhere to all Safety and OSHA requirements
- Adhere to all ISO requirements
- Adhere to all policies and procedures of the Company
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Ethical Conduct
- Follow verbal and written instructions

Required Education And Experience
Extrusion Tech I
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to read and understand directions
- Forklift experience preferred
- Same as Extrusion I
- Minimum 6 months experience in Manufacturing Environment
- Proficient in running Single Screw
- Same as Extrusion I
- Minimum 12 months experience in Manufacturing Environment
- Proficient in running Single Screw and Twin Screw
