Sales Associate - Blue Star Mart/Shell - Northgate DFW Airport

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service Excellence: Provide exceptional service by greeting customers, assisting with product selection and offering personalized recommendations.
• Product Knowledge: Stay knowledgeable about inventory to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
• Training: Learn essential duties such as cashiering, stocking, receiving and assisting guests.
• Maintenance: Keep the store environment clean and inviting by performing light cleaning tasks like sweeping, mopping and dusting.
• Physical Tasks: Lift up to 30 pounds and engage in repetitive movements such as bending, twisting and stooping throughout your shift.
• Professionalism: Maintain a clean, professional appearance and deliver top-tier customer service at all times.
• Teamwork: Work effectively with team members to foster positive, collaborative interactions with customers and colleagues.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience: At least 6 months to 1 year of experience in a fuel station/convenience store setting.
• ID Requirements: Must be at least 21 years old and present two valid government-issued IDs (one photo ID, such as a driver’s license, state ID, or passport; and one paper ID, such as a Social Security card or birth certificate).
• Background Check: Ability to pass a background check covering the last 7 years.
• Transportation: Reliable personal transportation is required.
• Schedule Flexibility: Must be available for shifts, including weekends (Friday through Sunday) and holidays, with availability for early morning to late-night shifts.
• Certifications: TABC, Food Handler and UST certifications are required for this role.
