What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Education Paraprofessional position at Star of the North Academy?
Star of the North Academy is a public K-8 charter school focused on closing the achievement gap. We seek to create a K- 8 school experience for young scholars that empowers them with knowledge, character, and leadership skills. We're looking to hire Special Education Paraprofessional for the 2025-2026 school year for East Bethel/Coon Rapids campus.
Interested candidates should have a background in or familiarity working with students who have IEP’s.
Sample Duties and Responsibilities may include:
- Supporting students in their regular education classes
- Working with students on a one to one basis
- Helping students reach their academic and behavior goals
- Record keeping
