Urgent Needs for LVNs in Ukiah, CA!
Facility: Skilled Nursing
Location: Ukiah, CA
Start Date: ASAP
Shifts: X1AM (6:30am-3pm Sunday -Thursday)
Length: 4 weeks( December 1 to December 31)
Pay Rate:
- LVN with housing: $32/hr (restricted housing options)
- LVN travel No housing all taxable: $42/hr plus $125 per week toward housing.
- Local LVN: $43/hr.
- LVN Travel No Housing split: $17/hr. taxable $1120 per week non taxable(17/28)
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary, ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; and providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.
- Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight, testing urine, and recording intake and output information.
- Provides patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting patients; answering patients’ call lights and requests; and reporting patient observations to the nursing supervisor.
- Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
- Maintains work operations by following the policies and procedures of the facility
- Protects the organization’s value by keeping patient information confidential.
- Enhances nursing department and facility reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Checks residents/patients frequently to ensure their personal care needs are met.
- Treat all residents, visitors, and staff with courtesy
- Maintaining professionalism at all times
Requirements:
Step # 1
- Resume - long-term care experience
- Nursing license – LVN (CA)
- Current - BLS/CPR
- Skills checklist
- 1 to 2– current -Supervisor references
- Copy or driver’s license and SS card
Step # 2
- Physical (within the last 12 months)
- PPD (within the last 12 months)
- MMR, Varicella,
- Hep B (or decline)
- Tdap/Flu (or decline)
- Exams
- LGBT Training Certification
- Must be able to pass background/ urine drug screen
