We are seeking an experienced door and window installer to join our team. Looking for someone with quality work experience in new construction in vinyl windows and doors.
Responsibilities:
- Interact with Star customers in a professional manner
- Load materials from our warehouse
- Install windows & doors per code and our manufacture specifications
- Accurately measure and cut materials for precise fit
- Ensure proper sealing and insulation for energy efficiency.
- Make necessary adjustments to ensure smooth operation of all installed products.
- Maintain and manage tools and equipment to ensure top performance.
- Follow all safety protocols and job site procedures.
- Provide professional and positive customer service.
- Perform warranty inspections and repairs for building materials, including doors, windows, trim, and other installed products.
-Assess and identify necessary resources, parts, and materials to complete repairs efficiently.
-Communicate professionally with homeowners, builders, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
-Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and follow-up actions.
-Manage multiple warranty projects while ensuring quality and efficiency.
Requirements
- Experience in construction, carpentry, or installation of building materials (doors, windows, trim, or similar products).
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve warranty issues effectively.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Professional demeanor and ability to work in residential and commercial settings.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft programs and mobile communication tools.
- A valid and unrestricted driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites.
