Position Overview
We are seeking an energetic, friendly, and service-oriented Server to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and can provide knowledgeable recommendations about our menu and ingredients.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere
- Present menus, answer questions, and offer suggestions based on guest preferences
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system
- Deliver food and drinks in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards
- Understand and communicate menu items, ingredients, spice levels, allergens, and cooking styles
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including table preset and reset
- Collaborate with hosts, kitchen staff, and other servers to ensure smooth service
- Handle payments, process transactions, and follow cash-handling procedures
- Address guest concerns professionally and efficiently
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and restaurant policies
Qualifications
- Previous serving experience preferred
- Chinese speaking is a plus
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
- Basic knowledge of food and beverages; willingness to learn menu details
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Must be at least 18 years old (21 for serving alcohol depending on restaurant requirements)
