Are you a dynamic and enthusiastic French speaker passionate about education and working with children? If so, our Language Academy has an exciting opportunity for you! We are currently seeking a fun and energetic individual to join our team as a French Language Instructor for school-aged children (Kinder – 5th grade).
Job Hours
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday – 2 pm-6 pm
Tuesday – 1 pm- 6 pm
Responsibilities: As a French Language Instructor, you will be responsible for conducting engaging and interactive classes for young learners. You will introduce them to the wonders of the French language, culture, history, and more through various activities and subjects, including cooking, art, music, reading, writing, science, dance, and history.
Job Hours:
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm
- Tuesday: 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Vaccination: All staff must show proof of vaccination against the Covid-19 virus by LAUSD guidelines.
- Experience: Prior experience in working with children is preferred. Teaching experience will be considered a significant advantage.
- Work Ethic: Demonstrated strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Self-Motivated: Ability to be proactive, self-motivated, and take initiative in the classroom.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively engage with students, parents, and fellow staff members.
- Organization: Demonstrated organizational skills to create structured and exciting lesson plans.
- Creativity: Bring your creative flair to the classroom, making learning fun and captivating.
- Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail to monitor the progress of each child's language development.
- Enthusiasm and Energy: Infuse your classes with enthusiasm and energy to foster a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Flexible Schedule: A flexible schedule and the ability to adapt to varying student needs are considered a plus.
- Legal Eligibility: Candidates must be able to work legally in the U.S.
- Language Proficiency: Native speaker proficiency in French is preferred, but candidates with exceptional language skills will also be considered.
