Unarmed Security Officer: Cook County Juvenile Temporary Detention Center

Full-time, WEEKENDS INCLUDED
We are looking for Security Officers (must be 21yrs or older) to maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, customers, and employees by patrolling, and monitoring premises and personnel throughout the Chicagoland area.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, and inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points.
- Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
- Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policy and procedures.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Enforcing security policies and procedures at all events
Qualifications:
- Must be 21yr and older
- Must pass a background
- ACTIVE PERC card- Required
- 20hr Basic Security Training Certificate- Required
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills

Physical requirement:
