Tawas Tools, a Star Cutter Company, is a 4th generation family owned, globally recognized, manufacturer of custom round tools and hobs. We are seeking a Quality Inspector for our Afternoon or Night Shift to join our production team at our East Tawas location. This individual will work within our production site ensuring that our quality meets standards and delivery schedules.

Job Responsibilities:
- Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors and outgoing products for shipping.
- ·Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations.
- Read blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand the requirements of products and services.
- Measure product dimensions, examine functionality and compare the final product to the specifications.
- Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.
- Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- We welcome experience with precision CNC machining operations.
