Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, electrical panels, plumbing, and mechanical equipment to prevent breakdowns.
- Diagnose and repair appliances, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and other mechanical equipment efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Read schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to accurately identify issues and execute repairs.
- Perform air conditioning system maintenance, including filter changes, refrigerant recharges, and system calibrations.
- Lead small maintenance projects or assist construction teams during facility upgrades or renovations.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for compliance and tracking purposes.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks, ensure safety protocols are followed, and improve overall maintenance processes.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and equipment troubleshooting.
- Ability to interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams accurately.
- Proven experience as a service technician with a focus on appliance repair or HVAC systems.
- Knowledge of construction practices related to facility maintenance or upgrades is a plus.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to guide junior team members or coordinate small projects effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a detail-oriented approach to diagnostics and repairs.
