Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Leasing Manager to oversee the leasing operations of our residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Fair Housing regulations, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage conflicts effectively. This role is critical in ensuring tenant satisfaction while maximizing occupancy rates and maintaining property standards.
Duties
- Manage the leasing process from start to finish, including marketing available properties, conducting tours, and processing applications.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and other legal requirements related to leasing.
- Maintain accurate data entry of tenant information, lease agreements, and property maintenance requests.
- Collaborate with property maintenance teams to ensure that all facilities are in good condition and address any tenant concerns promptly.
- Handle conflict management situations with tenants, ensuring issues are resolved amicably and professionally.
- Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective tenants, addressing inquiries and concerns effectively.
- Assist in preparing contracts for lease agreements and renewals while ensuring all terms comply with legal standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to ensure they meet quality standards and address any maintenance needs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in real estate administration or a similar role within property management.
- Strong understanding of Fair Housing regulations and legal aspects of leasing.
- Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records.
- Experience in conflict management and facilities management is preferred.
- Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
- Knowledge of property maintenance practices is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
