Responsibilities- Generate revenue by developing new business and expanding existing customer accounts.
- Develop the Texas market through referrals, networking, cold calling, and consistent prospecting.
- Sell cooling tower products and services to established customers and new prospects within the assigned territory.
- Conduct in-person customer meetings, needs assessments, facility visits, and sales presentations.
- Build long-term relationships with maintenance, reliability, engineering, purchasing, and project-management personnel.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate cooling tower repair, maintenance, upgrade, replacement, and component solutions.
- Develop new customer contacts through industry networking and market research.
- Monitor market conditions, industry developments, competitor activity, pricing, and product innovations.
- Maintain accurate records of prospects, sales activities, opportunities, follow-up items, and account status.
- Work closely with estimating, project management, and operations personnel to support proposal development and successful project execution.
- One to two years of outside sales experience, preferably in industrial, construction, mechanical, or related services to power, refining, chemical, and paper facilities.
- Cooling tower experience not required.
- Strong prospecting and new-business-development abilities.
