Star Cabs is hiring a dependable, organized dispatcher for our Metairie office.
Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming customer calls professionally
- Enter trip information accurately
- Dispatch calls to available drivers
- Monitor drivers and communicate schedule changes
- Handle customer and driver concerns calmly
- Keep up in a busy, fast-paced environment
Requirements:
- Strong phone and customer-service skills
- Comfortable using computers
- Able to multitask and make quick decisions
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Must remain calm under pressure
- Dispatching, transportation, or call-center experience is helpful but not required
