Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Yard Loader Operator to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently loading and organizing material. Your expertise in heavy equipment operation and construction utility work will ensure smooth project workflows, safety compliance, and timely delivery of materials.
Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of construction machinery including loaders, excavators, dozers, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, and water trucks to load and unload materials accurately and safely.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment such as Caterpillar machinery and other heavy-duty tools to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Maintain a clean and organized yard by properly stacking materials and ensuring all safety procedures are followed during equipment operation.
- Follow all safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation, construction site protocols, and federal construction safety standards to promote a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as loaders annd excavators.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic maintenance on construction machinery.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining high safety standards on busy job sites.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks such as operating machinery for extended periods.
