Role Description
This is a full-time or part-time on-site role for a Certified Pharmacy Technician located in St George, UT. The Certified Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for assisting pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications, managing inventory, and maintaining accurate patient records. Day-to-day tasks include filling and labeling prescriptions, managing pharmacy inventory, and providing excellent customer service to patients. The role also involves coordinating with healthcare professionals and insurance companies to ensure accuracy and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience with Prescription and Pharmacy operations
- Pharmacy Technician certification and valid Utah Pharmacy Technician License
- Skills in Inventory Control and management
- Strong Customer Service and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a high-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance
- Previous experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred
