Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Associate General Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive dental care, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and prosthodontics, while ensuring top-tier patient care. You will work in a state-of-the-art facility utilizing advanced technology and collaborate closely with our dedicated team to create positive patient experiences.
Duties
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and dental fabrication with precision and care
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging using medical imaging tools
- Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to maintain a sterile environment in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Document medical records accurately using electronic health record systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix
- Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and post-procedure care to promote optimal outcomes
- Collaborate with team members on treatment planning and coordinate care for pediatric patients and those requiring specialized procedures like endodontics or oral surgery
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology to ensure clear communication and effective treatment delivery
Experience
- Proven experience working in a dental office or clinic setting with familiarity in general dentistry procedures
- Prior experience with pediatric dentistry and oral surgery is highly desirable
- Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix preferred
- Strong understanding of infection control standards and aseptic techniques in a clinical environment
- Knowledge of medical records management and HIPAA compliance regulations
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively
- Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other complex procedures confidently
