Stanton Millworks is looking for a Millwork Finisher who takes pride in precision, consistency, and craftsmanship. As part of our team, you’ll work hands-on in a shop environment finishing casework, millwork, and specialty items that demand a high level of detail and care. From developing and maintaining finish samples to applying stains, paints, and coatings, your work will play a critical role in delivering finished products that meet Trade31’s high standards of quality and appearance.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Finish casework, millwork, and specialty items in a shop-based environment
- Apply spray-on and wipe-on stains, clear finishes, and opaque paints with precision
- Sand, stain, paint, and finish surfaces to meet quality and aesthetic standards
- Formulate, document, and maintain accurate finish formulas in an organized system
- Develop, stage, and maintain finish samples and the finish library
- Operate, maintain, and clean spray-finishing equipment and related tools
- Track and maintain a running list of finishing materials used on each project
- Maintain a high level of quality awareness and take ownership of finished work
- Follow all OSHA, EPA, ODH, and company safety policies and procedures
- Participate in accident or incident investigations when applicable
- Continuously develop skills and knowledge related to finishing methods, tools, and best practices
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Woodwork finishing, minimum 2 yrs' experience.
- Must be able to lift, pull, push, and carry 70 lbs. or more.
- Ability to perform and train on all jobs.
- Knowledge of formulating various finishes and procedures (stain, water based & oil formulas, polyurethane etc.).
