What are the responsibilities and job description for the Master Electrician position at Stansbury Electric?
We are hiring an experienced Master Electrician to manage the day-to-day operations of our growing electrical division in Louisville. This is primarily an estimating and management position - not a field electrician position.
You will manage a mix of approximately 10-12 electricians and helpers in the field and will have authority over crew assignments, scheduling, training, job planning, staffing recommendations, and day-to-day operational decisions.
Responsibilities
· Estimate residential and commercial electrical projects.
· Schedule and dispatch electricians and helpers.
· Plan and set up jobs before field work begins.
· Manage, coach, and develop field employees.
· Monitor labor, material usage, schedules, quality, and job profitability.
· Provide technical support and help resolve code, permitting, inspection, and jobsite issues.
· Help recruit and train employees as the electrical division grows.
· Communicate with customers, builders, contractors, inspectors, vendors, and management.
Qualifications
· Master Electrician license/credentials acceptable for Kentucky and local permitting requirements.
· Strong electrical and NEC knowledge.
· Electrical estimating experience.
· Ability to read plans, specifications, and construction documents.
· Experience leading electricians, apprentices, or field crews.
· Residential and commercial electrical experience preferred.
· Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

· $85,000-$95,000 annual salary (higher based on experience)

Schedule
Monday-Friday, approximately 7:30 AM-5:00 PM.
About the Role
The field team is already in place and continuing to grow. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the electrical division, build the team, improve estimating and job execution, and help us scale the business.
Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
