What are the responsibilities and job description for the PT - Adjunct Instructor, Carolina Auction Academy position at Stanly Community College?
The adjunct instructor will teach various curricula approved by the North Carolina Auctioneer Licensing Board (NCALB). Relevant course topics include but are not limited to: GS 85 B rules and regulations, UCC codes, math, communication skills, auction set up, clerking and registration antiques, consignment auctions and other courses as defined by the NCALB. This instructor will be responsible for classroom setup and creating and/or copying materials needed for the course. The successful candidate will also evaluate student progress, notify program coordinator of any issues or concerns, notify program coordinator of any needs, and adhere to all policies and procedures as required by Stanly Community College.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIESRequired Qualifications:
- Current NC Auctioneer License;
- Approved NCALB Instructor or possess all qualifications needed to become an NCALB-approved instructor; and
- Two years of experience in training.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using Zoom
- Experience with Canvas as an instructor
