They are seeking a Data Engineer to provide support an emerging capability for the USSTRATCOM J2 by developing, implementing, and operating a data management system for the intelligence enterprise.
Qualified Data Engineer will have the below skills:
- 8 years of experience across Mathematics, Statistics, Machine Learning, Data Science, or Operations Research especially around software engineering
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or related field.
- 8 years of working with AWS big data technologies (S3, EC2).
- Experience in distributed data processing, data modeling, ETL development, and/or data warehousing.
- 3 years of experience using analytical concepts and statistical techniques.
- Knowledge of software engineering best practices across the development lifecycle.
- Experience with Python to automate data workflows.
This work is onsite at Offutt AFB, Nebraska. Candidates must be a US Citizen with an active TS/SCI level government clearance. Salary for this role is up to $130K for qualified candidates.
