We are looking to hire a highly motivated and motivating individual to serve as a Wext/Mold Restoration Technician for our Delray Beach office. The person in this position should have the ability of interacting well with peers and customers while developing accurate residential and commercial estimates using Xactimate.

• Candidates must have at least one year of experience in the restoration industry and present the ability to manage people and field production.
• The ideal candidate must possess clean driving records and pass drug test and background check

Job Duties:

• Estimate insurance and other restoration/renovation jobs as received using
• Maintain existing and develop new business relationships with insurance adjusters, property managers and owners.
• Respond to emergency service calls and participate in the on-call rotation.
• Manage emergency and repair services through completion using sub- trades and in-house staff.
• Manage customer relationships through job completion.
• Maintain complete, timely and accurate job documentation (estimates, contracts, submissions and logs)
• Accept additional responsibilities as requested by management with sense of urgency at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Determine cause of loss and likelihood of insurance coverage communicating issues to upper management, insurance adjusters and owners as needed.
• Complete thorough and accurate emergency/repair estimates within stated timelines using a tablet with Xactimate software.
• Manage projects to completion ensuring quality standards, timelines and profit margins are met.
• Ensure complete water damage documentation in every water loss file.
• Proactively respond to all customer requests and documenting all communication in our property management software.
• Maintain safe and tidy work sites.
• Participate in the answering of emergency calls (24hrs / 7days)
• Communicate all potential issues to management as soon as possible.
• Attend scheduled production meetings and host training courses.
• Carry company phone at all times even when not working

Candidate will train/ and assist the Crew Chief during each cleaning to provide quality work, meeting our customers' expectations. This person will be responsible for maintaining excellent relationships with the customer, ensuring cleaning service satisfaction and provide information to customers about other Stanley Steemer products and services. Candidate will assist for the maintenance and inventory of company equipment, for instance vehicle, cleaning tools, agents, hoses, and chemicals, etc. after use.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Assist the Crew Chief in all duties necessary to provide quality carpet and upholstery cleaning; or tile and grout cleaning.
• Set up the van at the job site using the proper set-up procedures.
• Block and pad furniture.
• Productively and safely move furniture to prepare the home for cleaning.
• Assist in cleaning when Crew Chief is performing other job responsibilities.
• Apply protection and deodorizers; or agents and color seal to carpet and furniture or tile and grout.
• Drive company vehicle as needed.
• Wipe all baseboards.
• Finish out carpeting (rake) after cleaning and other services.
• Account for and return all cleaning tools and cleaning agents, hoses, chemicals, etc. to the truck before departure from the customer’s home.
• Clean vehicle at end of each day.
• Ensure Proper inventory of blocks, pads, spotting agents and retail items on truck.
• Assist in backing of van using proper backing procedure
• Inform customers about and sell retail items.
• Uphold all company safety policies.
• Uphold all company policies and procedures.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
