Job Summary
We are seeking energetic and dependable Furniture Delivery Personnel to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely delivering furniture and large items directly to customers’ homes or designated locations. Your enthusiasm for excellent customer service, combined with your ability to handle heavy lifting and operate various delivery equipment, will ensure a smooth and positive experience for every customer.
Duties
- Safely load, unload, and secure furniture items
- Load and organize deliveries to optimize route efficiency while ensuring items are protected during transit
- Deliver furniture to customers’ homes or business locations with a focus on punctuality and professionalism
- Assist customers with the placement and setup of furniture upon delivery, providing excellent customer service throughout the process
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving certification preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally and courteously
- Ability to lift heavy furniture items repeatedly while maintaining proper safety techniques
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to moving, loading/unloading, and vehicle operation
