Stanley Machining & Tool Corporation, a family-owned contract manufacturer established in 1966, is seeking an Experienced CNC Milling Programmer to join our team. Operating from nearly 400,000 square feet of facility space with over 200 machines, we proudly serve Fortune 500 clients across Defense, Aerospace, Heavy Equipment, Agriculture, and Oil & Gas. Our focus is precision machining and turnkey solutions for complex, medium-to-large parts, ranging in size from 6" to over 300" in length and turning diameters up to 110".
Position Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled CNC Milling Programmer with proven experience in both vertical and horizontal milling centers. This individual will be responsible for creating, optimizing, and proving out CNC programs for complex components while ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Program and set up both horizontal and vertical CNC milling centers
- Create CNC programs in Mastercam and optimize with G-code edits as needed
- Select tooling, fixtures, and cutting strategies to maximize quality and efficiency
- Troubleshoot machining processes and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Work closely with machinists, engineers, and quality personnel to meet customer requirements
- Ensure compliance with AS9100D and customer specifications
Key Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years CNC milling programming experience
- Proficient in Mastercam and G-code programming
- Hands-on experience in both horizontal and vertical milling centers (Fanuc controls)
- Strong knowledge of tooling, fixtures, and workholding strategies
- Demonstrated ability to hold tight tolerances (up to /- .001" for larger parts and /- .0005" for smaller parts)
- Experience machining medium-to-large complex metal components
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
