Under the direction of the Senior Manager of People Services and Analytics, you will participate in data entry, data analysis and reporting, system research, testing, project meetings and other HR system related tasks. During the season, this role may be expected to work up to 6 days per week during our harvest period from mid‑July to late September. Our cannery operates 24/7, so flexibility to work either Day or Swing shift is required. This position will be primarily responsible for:
- Entering data into HRIS: new hires, terminations, and employee data changes.
- Performing system/data tasks in Core HR, Timekeeping and Learning Management Systems
- Running and creating reports from the UKG Business Intelligence Tool.
- Conducting system testing.
- Researching particular system functions and configuration.
- Monitoring and creating cases/tickets opened with Vendor.
- Creating end user guides and documentation.
- Attending project meetings and vendor discussions.
- Communicating with team members regarding system access.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in program or recently awarded a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Information Technology or related field.
- Intermediate Excel, l Proficiency (V-lookup, Pivot Tables, formulas).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong sense of importance of maintaining confidential information.
Physical Requirements:
- Some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and frequent fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires the following percentages of time committed to physical activity: 75% or more sitting, 25% or less walking, and 25% or less standing. The job is performed under rare temperature variations and in an office environment. Unrestricted visual and audio abilities are required for the safety of all employees. The ability to lift up to 35 lbs. is required.
