CAREGIVER SCOPE OF CARE:
- Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): - Bathing, grooming, hygiene - Dressing and toileting support - Mobility assistance and safe transfers - Incontinence care
- Medication reminders
- Meal preparation and hydration support
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Transportation using caregiver’s vehicle (with mileage reimbursement)
- Companionship, social engagement, routine support
- Safety monitoring and fall prevention
- Communication updates to family as appropriate
- Support for memory care needs (Alzheimer’s & dementia-friendly approaches)
- Collaboration with home health, hospice, rehab, and other providers for continuity of care (non-medical role) CAREGIVER CERTIFICATION & REQUIREMENTS:
- Active HCA Registration through CDSS (includes fingerprinting/background check)
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid auto insurance for transportation assignments
- Current TB test and physical within the last 90 days
- Prior caregiving experience preferred but not required
- Friendly, patient, adaptable, and professional demeanor
- Strong communication skills and willingness to coordinate with families and the Amada care team
