What are the responsibilities and job description for the Blind and Shade Installer position at Stangle Installation LLC?
**Job Overview:**
Seeking a part time Blind and shade installer in and around the Sequim WA area. Start from home, control your schedule. Piece work, no clocking in, not an hourly position, the faster you work the sooner you get done.
Typical day: Installer will contact customers the evening before to provide time frame of arrival the following day. Day of: installer will arrive at the customers home to measure windows for coverings OR install window coverings that have arrived. Unbox and install window treatments and haul away old blinds, boxing and packing material. MUST HAVE VEHICLE that will hold boxes and old blinds.
Customer facing/customer service, must be presentable!
Install blinds and shades for brands: Bali, Veneta, Levelor, Blinds.com, including - Blinds, Shades, Motorized shades and verticals.
**Duties:**
- Install blinds and shades into wood, block, and metal
- Climb a ladder up to 17'
- Utilize a battery operated drill
- Efficient time management skills
- Customer service skills
- Clean professional appearance (collared shirt)
- Clean driving record; Reliable transportation (a truck), with full insurance coverage
- Haul away all trash and old blinds
**Experience Needed:**
- Experience in Blind Installation, Construction, or Handyman Services a plus
- Proficiency in accurately reading a tape measure to the 1/8th
- Problem solving abilities
- Comfortable using an Ipad and Apps to input measures and change orders.
- Works independently without direct supervision
Pay is based on work completed, typically $400-$600 per week Part time, $1000-$1200 per week Full time. Paid weekly (after 2 full weeks of work) W-2 position, Background Check required.
