What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Onboarding Internship - Summer 2026 position at Standish Management, LLC?
We are a provider of specialized fund administration services for Managers and General Partners of private equity funds, specifically: Buy‐out, Venture Capital, Real Estate and Fund‐of‐ Funds. For new General Partners, we provide consulting services to help accelerate the launch of their funds in addition to our full fund administration services. For established General Partners, we provide administration services and technology to whole fund families or select funds, to help scale their fund operations rapidly and efficiently.
This position is ideal for someone looking to gain exposure to private equity and venture capital industries through fund administration and systems solutions. Standish interns provide a key role in helping to onboard new clients to Standish’s fund accounting group. The job responsibilities include assistance with compiling and maintaining investor and engagement team information, file organization, and special projects as needed. This position also includes exposure to the systems technology that our clients utilize for reporting purposes by assisting with ongoing data entry & systems conversion projects for new and existing clients as well as analyzing reports and client documents (financial & otherwise) to determine and address discrepancies.

Essential Functions
- Assist internal engagement teams with onboarding activities, such as providing access to folders, group mailboxes, and other engagement activities
- Compile and organize investor CRM information
- Assist with data validations, loads, and reconciliations for client implementations
- Communicate and provide information to the technology team to set up client portals
- Assist with client workspace setup within Standish’s project management software
- Provide general administrative support to the Client Onboarding and System Solutions Team
- Knowledge of basic Accounting and Finance principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word & Outlook
- Attention to detail
