Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance throughout the shopping experience
- Help customers locate merchandise, answer product questions, and offer basic product recommendations
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently at the register
- Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor and merchandise displays
- Assist with receiving, unpacking, pricing, and stocking inventory
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate product needs to management
- Support merchandising, promotions, and seasonal product displays
- Handle customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when needed
- Follow store safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment
- Work collaboratively with team members to support daily store goals
Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred
- Basic knowledge of hardware, tools, building materials, or home improvement products is helpful
