PURPOSE To manufacture, transformers, coils, and inductors according to Customer specifications and Renco standards.
A. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Wind wire with the appropriate number of turns according to customer specifications
Apply flux to solder points as per manufacturing instructions
Solder pins/leads in solder pot per Renco manufacturing procedures by dipping/dragging the pins into the solder pots
Assemble transformer according to manufacturing instructions
Test transformer for conformance
Follows policies and procedures utilized by the Company and Department to ensure the efficient running of the department and customer satisfaction
Other duties as assigned
B. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Two years’ assembly experience
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and those related to the position
Ability to speak fluently with customers, managers, and fellow employees
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instruction when furnished in written, oral, and diagram form
C. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to work without close supervision

Work is performed in a temperature and humidity controlled indoor office environment, air condition and heat as required. Temperatures may range from the mid 60's to high 70's. Noise level is moderate due to ringing telephones, office machinery (fax, reprographics), and conversations. There are no specific hazards or adverse atmospheric conditions in the office.
