Day Shift Centerless Grinder Trainee – DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Learns to independently run the centerless grind machines
- Inspects the parts produced by the machine
- Makes adjustments to the machines if necessary
- Keeps the machine area clean, including floor, machine, and workstation
- Understands and learns how to read gauging of the products from the machines
- Performs all other duties as assigned
Centerless Grinder Trainee - KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Ready to learn a new trade
- Ability to retain and repeat what has been taught
- Able to make good decisions on which materials to use, how to solve the problem and if outside help is needed
- Able to work in a high-pressure environment and handle multi-tasks
EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
