We are seeking an electrical apprentice to join our team, where you will be responsible for assisting experienced electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. This apprenticeship role is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn and develop their skills in the electrical industry.
- Assist experienced electricians with electrical construction
- Conduct routine electrical inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Utilize hand tools and power tools
- Operate specialized equipment, including an ohmmeter and voltmeter, to diagnose electrical issues
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues
- Work on construction sites and ensure that electrical work is performed safely and to the highest quality
- Keep up-to-date with the latest electrical codes and regulations, including the NEC
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance electrical knowledge and skills
**Requirements**
- Completion of an electrical apprenticeship program or relevant vocational training
- Knowledge of electrical safety practices and procedures
- Experience with electrical construction and maintenance
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and electrical diagrams
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment
- Knowledge of high-voltage electrical systems and practices
