- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor patient health by observing behavior, and reporting changes promptly
- Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety
- Prepare nutritious meals, assist with feeding when necessary, and maintain cleanliness in common areas and resident rooms
- Engage residents in social activities, recreational programs, or one-on-one interactions to promote mental stimulation
- Follow detailed care plans created by healthcare professionals to meet individual needs effectively
- No prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is required but is highly preferred
- Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, HIPAA compliance training are advantageous but not mandatory; training provided if needed
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
- Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing respectful, person-centered care
