Part-Time Janitorial / Floor Care Technician (Saturdays)
Location: Scranton, PA (18512 & 18503)
Schedule: Saturdays, approximately 12PM–4:00 PM
Hours: ~4 hours every Saturday
Position Overview
StandardOne Building Services is hiring a reliable part-time team member to provide Saturday janitorial and floor-care services at two commercial facilities in the Scranton/Dunmore area. The locations are within 10 minutes of each other.
This is a consistent, Saturday-only position averaging approximately 4 hours per Saturday. Start and end times are flexible. The primary work includes floor buffing, mopping, and trash removal. Previous experience operating a commercial floor buffer is required.
Responsibilities:
- Buff and maintain hard-surface flooring using commercial floor-care equipment
- Dry mop and wet mop assigned floor areas
- Remove trash and replace liners as needed
- Move cleaning supplies, equipment, and light furniture when necessary
- Follow site-specific cleaning procedures and safety requirements
- Complete assigned tasks thoroughly within the scheduled service time
- Properly care for cleaning and floor-care equipment
- Maintain dependable attendance and communicate promptly with management
Requirements
- Previous experience operating a commercial floor buffer
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Ability to travel between two nearby facilities during the shift
- Ability to work independently and stay on task
- Ability to lift and move cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ability to bend, walk, stand, and perform physical cleaning tasks throughout the shift
- Ability to successfully complete a background check
- Dependable and detail-oriented
