As a Mechanic you will work in gas turbine Fuel accessories, PowerGen, or Pneumatics where we employ the latest technologies and techniques in the aviation industry to serve our customers. You’ll ensure our products are world class & exceed our customer’s expectations.
What You’ll Do
- Learn and apply theory of operations for Fuel, PowerGen, or Pneumatic systems.
- Perform disassembly, assembly, and testing across multiple production lines.
- Use hand and air tools such as pneumatic grinders, restoration hammers, and pry bars.
- Utilize precision measuring tools including calipers and micrometers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Mechanics, Test Cell, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Engineering.
- Apply basic cause-and-effect analysis to support troubleshooting throughout the product lifecycle.
- Follow all company safety standards and regulatory requirements (FAA, EASA, and other applicable regulations); complete assigned training and support duties such as parts quoting as needed.
- Parts quoting and other duties as assigned.
- 6 months plus of job-related training/experience/education in aviation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to sit or stand for at least 50% of shift
- Ability to learn & interpret Theory of Operations and Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs).
- Ability to effectively communicate with several levels of leadership to develop and execute both written and verbal objectives.
- A track-record of cross-functional department collaboration and resolutions.
- Ability to understand and to restore aviation engine parts to original integrity and dimensions
