About the Role
Position Summary:
The Commercial Partnerships Manager is responsible for developing and implementing processes and systems to efficiently manage relationships with licensed brand partners, whose intellectual property is manufactured and distributed as part of Standard Wellness’s product portfolio, to maximize the utilization of production capacity and drive incremental profitability for the Company.
This role serves as the primary liaison between the Company and its Brand Partners, ensuring efficient distribution of licensed products to widen the Company’s market presence. The Commercial Partnerships Manager works cross-functionally with compliance, sales, marketing, and operations teams to deliver licensed products that drive incremental sales and complement the Company’s product portfolio.
A successful Commercial Partnerships Manager builds trusted relationships with brand licensors, ensures smooth product approval and launch processes, and identifies opportunities to expand licensed product revenue while protecting the integrity of house brands.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and maintain a partner playbook to set bi-directional expectations, product specifications, success metrics, inter-company integration points, and key contacts
- Establish a rubric for “buy vs. build” analysis
- Achieve sales targets, KPIs, and performance expectations for each brand
- Conducts regular business reviews with Brand Partners to discuss performance, strategy, visual merchandising, field marketing, and white space opportunities
- Ensures timely and transparent communication between brand partners and internal sales
License Compliance & Regulatory Approvals:
- Support the approval process for licensed products including packaging, marketing materials, promotional materials, and visual merchandise
- Ensure all licensed products meet contractual obligations
Commercial Performance:
- Monitor sales performance, royalty obligations, and brand-level P&L’s
- Analyze opportunities to expand/shrink product lines, increase distribution, or strengthen brand engagement
- Provide brand partners with performance updates, forecasts, and growth plans
- Inform Company production planning based on profitability and market demand
Contract & Licensing Coordination:
- Support negotiation and renewal of licensing agreements in collaboration with legal and executive leadership
- Manage licensing timelines, deliverables, and reporting requirements
- Work with accounting to ensure accurate royalty reporting and compliance with contract terms
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Coordinate launches and promotional initiatives across marketing, sales, design, legal, and operations teams
- Support marketing initiatives that promote licensed products and strengthen brand partnerships
- Coordinate revenue growth opportunities between sales and brand partner resources
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, merchandising, or a related field
