What are the responsibilities and job description for the Title and Escrow Coordinator position at Standard Title, LLC?
Title and Escrow Coordinator — Standard Title, LLC
Raleigh, NC or Charlotte, NC | Full-Time | On-Site
About Standard Title
Standard Title, LLC is a full-service commercial title insurance agency operating across North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and Georgia. We offer commercial title insurance through leading underwriters including First American, Chicago Title, Stewart Title, Fidelity National, and WFG — alongside commercial escrow services through Standard Escrow and 1031 exchange services through Standard Exchange. We empower our clients to secure and finance commercial real estate boldly and with confidence.
The Role
The Title and Escrow Coordinator sits at the center of our transaction operations. You manage the communication and process layer across our title and escrow functions — making sure every client is updated, every vendor is managed, and every file moves forward. You work alongside an experienced underwriting and escrow team and serve as the connective thread between clients, vendors, and our internal operations.
This role is structured in tiers. You start with title operations support — search placement, proactive file follow-ups, and order acknowledgements. As you demonstrate consistency, you grow into final title policy processing and eventually escrow transaction coordination. We invest in people who execute reliably and take ownership of their work.
What You Will Do
• Place title search orders, manage vendor communication, and keep clients proactively updated on file status
• Acknowledge inbound orders and assist with look-ups and file management
• Process final title policies using established checklists
• Open escrow files, send wire instructions via encrypted portal, and verify outbound wires
• Acknowledge incoming escrow deposits and keep all parties informed on critical dates
• Keep every file moving — nothing falls through the cracks
What We Are Looking For
• Real estate, title, or legal administrative experience preferred — escrow or closing experience a plus
• Organized and process-oriented — you follow an established protocol every time and flag when something is off
• Clear and professional communicator, written and verbal, without needing supervision
• Self-directed — you manage your own workload and escalate issues proactively
• Proficient in Microsoft 365, ShareFile, and DocuSign — SoftPro or similar title software experience a plus
• Comfortable learning AI-assisted drafting tools
