Duties

• Operate various machinery including CNC machines, sewing machines, and woodworking power tools to produce textile components and finished products
• Use hand tools and power tools for woodworking, metal fabrication, and assembly tasks with precision and safety adherence
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of textile products
• Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of materials safely while maintaining an organized workspace
• Measure materials accurately using tape measures, calipers, and other measurement tools to ensure quality standards are met
• Follow safety protocols rigorously during all phases of production to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment
• Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery such as sewing machines, CNC equipment, and fabrication tools to minimize downtime

Skills

• Proficiency in machine operation including CNC machining, sewing machines, and woodworking power tools
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to fabrication, machining, and construction processes
• Experience with sewing, garment construction, millwork, or heavy-duty assembly is highly desirable
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and technical specifications accurately
• Knowledge of safety standards in manufacturing environments including power tool safety and proper handling of heavy equipment
• Familiarity with warehouse procedures including inventory management and organization skills
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality control checks
• Hands-on experience with hand tools for woodworking and fabricating components for textiles or construction projects

Pay: $24.71 - $29.75 per hour
