The Sourcing Lead will manage supplier relationships, negotiations, and supply continuity for Standard Textile's Interiors Group (IG).
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Sourcing Strategy: Develop and implement sourcing strategies. Lead supplier negotiations for favorable terms.
- Vendor Management: Establish vendor ranking system. Evaluate and optimize supplier relationships.
- Negotiation & Cost Engineering: Lead contract negotiations. Identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Process Development: Implement standardized sourcing processes. Collaborate on specifications and acceptance criteria.
- Data Management: Improve purchase order data accuracy. Use analytics for cost-saving and forecasting.
- Risk Mitigation: Create contingency plans for supply disruptions. Address critical supply issues.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Communicate with internal teams to align supplier capabilities with project needs.
Qualifications Include:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field. 5 years in strategic sourcing or vendor negotiations.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in negotiation and cost engineering. Strong analytical skills and software proficiency.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strategic thinker and collaborative leader.
