Job Summary

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Sewing Machine Operators to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various sewing machines to produce high-quality garments and upholstery products. Responsibilities

• Operate industrial sewing machines, serging equipment, and embroidery machines to assemble and finish products according to specifications
• Measure fabric and materials accurately using measuring instruments and ensure proper dimensional measurements for each item
• Follow detailed sewing instructions and seam construction techniques to maintain consistency and quality in every product
• Handle materials carefully, including fabric materials and upholstery components, ensuring proper materials handling throughout production
• Maintain safety standards in production by adhering to safety protocols and properly handling machinery and tools
• Conduct quality checks during production to meet quality standards in production, identifying defects or inconsistencies early
• Assist with manual fabric cutting when necessary, ensuring precise cuts for optimal garment construction

Experience

• Proven experience operating sewing machines, including industrial sewing machines and sergers, in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
• Familiarity with garment sewing, upholstery work, and embroidery techniques is highly desirable
• Knowledge of measuring instruments and fabric materials used in manufacturing processes
• Understanding of sew construction, seam finishing, and garment construction principles
• Experience with materials handling, dimensional measurements, and quality standards in production settings
• Prior warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards
