We are currently seeking an experienced Plant Manager that will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of a fabrication manufacturing facility, including production operations, safety, quality, maintenance, inventory control, continuous improvement, and workforce management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Direct and manage daily manufacturing operations, including fabrication, welding, machining, assembly, and finishing processes.
· Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining quality and cost targets.
· Monitor plant performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, efficiency, scrap rates, and on-time delivery.
· Optimize workflow, labor utilization, and equipment capacity.
· Promote a culture of safety and accountability throughout the facility.
· Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, environmental requirements, and company safety policies.
· Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and corrective action programs.
· Lead incident investigations and implement preventive measures.
· Ensure adherence to quality standards and customer specifications.
· Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, rework, and waste.
· Partner with Quality Assurance teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
· Maintain compliance with applicable industry certifications and standards.
· Lead, coach, and develop supervisors, managers, and plant personnel.
· Establish performance expectations and conduct employee evaluations.
· Foster employee engagement, teamwork, and professional development.
· Manage staffing levels, workforce planning, and succession planning.
· Ensure preventive and predictive maintenance programs are effectively executed.
· Maximize equipment uptime and manufacturing reliability.
· Oversee facility maintenance and capital improvement projects.
· Evaluate equipment performance and recommend upgrades as needed.
· Drive process improvements that increase productivity, quality, safety, and profitability.
· Utilize data analytics and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
· Actively supports all Standard Technology activities, i.e. failure analysis etc.
· Familiarity with ISO standards and requirements.
· Exercises independent judgment as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing, operations management, or related Field.
· 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations or related leadership role is required.
· Extensive experience with lean manufacturing, process optimization, and continuous improvement.
· Strong organizational and analytical skills, including but not limited to budgeting, cost management, and resource planning.
· Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions to drive operational improvements.
· Excellent leadership and team management abilities with a proven track record of managing large teams and complex manufacturing environments.
· In-depth knowledge of manufacturing operations, equipment, and industry best practices.
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
· Knowledge of operational processes, logistics, and quality control.
· Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
· Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, project management software).
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
