JOB TITLE: Instructional/Intervention Aide
SITE LOCATION OF POSITION: Standard Elementary School
TERM/HOURS OF POSITION: 5.75 Hours Per Day
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Under the supervision of the site administrator and the direction of a certificated staff member, performs the necessary duties to assist in the planning and implementation of a program for the regular and special needs of children in the classroom.
Education/Certification
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
SCREENING PROCEDURES: Review of applications and personal interviews.
FILING DEADLINE: 4:00 p.m., May 26, 2026, or until filled.
OTHER COMMENTS: The applicant selected will be required to successfully complete a pre-placement medical assessment, TB clearance, and fingerprint clearance before being hired as a probationary employee.

Education/Certification
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate's degree, two years of study at an institute of higher learning, or have met formal academic assessment required by No Child Left Behind Act.
- CPR training. Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics.
- Ability to work well with children
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Background to include activities that involve students and an interest in working with school age children.
- Experience working in an instructional environment.
- Experience or education in the areas of child development.
