Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of civil construction projects, ensuring they are executed profitably, safely, and on schedule. In this role, you will own the project's financial health and timeline, serving as the primary bridge between the client, the office, and field operations. You will manage contracts, budgets, and resources to deliver quality infrastructure work from hand-off to closeout.
Key Objectives
- Financial Control: Manage job costs, monthly billing, change orders, and budget tracking to maximize profitability.
- Project Execution: Develop and maintain critical path schedules, ensuring labor and equipment are utilized efficiently.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Field Support: Partner with Superintendents to resolve constructability issues and ensure strict adherence to safety (OSHA) and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5 years of project management experience specifically in heavy civil construction (earthwork, underground utilities, paving, or grading).
- Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of project management software's for job costing and field management. Proficiency in MS Project and Bluebeam/Agtek is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret complex civil engineering plans, including grading sheets and utility profiles.
- Financial Acumen: Proven experience managing budgets, change orders, and monthly progress billings (AIA/T&M).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, or equivalent field experience.
- Driver: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
