What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL A Driver position at Standard Resources of CO, LLC.?
We are looking for an experienced Class A truck driver with tandem dump, belly dump, and side dump experience to join our growing team. Heavy equipment operating experience is a plus! We haul aggregate materials locally. Driver must be over the age of 23 with valid CDL Class A, must have a CLEAN driving record and ability to pass a pre employment drug screening.
Responsibilities
- Transport aggregate materials locally.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance, Pre trip/ Post trip inspections using Fleetio.
- Document daily loads and turn in nightly, utilize electronic time tracking software.
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures FMCSA
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Load and unload equipment
- Properly securing loads
- Collect, verify and respond to dispatches
- Report defects, accidents or violations utilizing technology
- Electronically record time spent on each job daily for invoicing and payroll purposes
- Potential for equipment operation based on experience. Load trucks with aggregate materials using a front end loader, operate skid steer on location for reclaim, etc.
- Must be local to the area.
Skills
- 1-2 years proven work experience as a truck driver
- Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
- No moving or driving violations
- Oilfield experience is a must, SAFELAND certified, and valid H2S & CPR/1st Aid.
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
- Valid class A CDL and current medical card required

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
