Job Description: Apartment Turnover Technician
We are seeking a skilled, reliable, and self-motivated Apartment Turnover Technician to join our growing property management team. This full-time role focuses on preparing vacant apartment units for new residents by completing repairs, flooring, painting, and general readiness work within set turnover timelines.
The ideal candidate has hands-on apartment or residential maintenance experience, works efficiently with minimal supervision, and takes pride in delivering clean, rent-ready units.
This position will be based out of our Buffalo office and service primarily our Buffalo portfolio with some projects in our Rochester portfolio.

Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation
- Prior apartment, residential, or maintenance experience
- Experience with flooring installation and interior painting preferred
- Ability to work independently and meet turnover deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and unit readiness standards
- Must provide own basic tools for maintenance and repair tasks
Key Responsibilities
- Complete apartment turnover work between tenants to ensure units are rent-ready
- Install, repair, and replace flooring, including carpet and luxury vinyl plank (LVP)
- Perform interior painting, including walls, ceilings, trim, and touch-ups as needed
- Perform light electrical, plumbing, drywall, appliance, and general apartment repairs
- Replace fixtures, hardware, outlets, switches, and minor components as needed
- Address punch-list items and deficiencies identified during unit inspections
- Remove minor debris and assist with unit clean-outs when required
- Communicate progress, issues, and completion status with supervisors
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites across multiple properties
- Must provide own tools for basic maintenance and renovation tasks
