The Opportunity
Under the direction of the Director of IT, the Sr. Manager, Agile Delivery will be responsible for leading the Requirements & Delivery Management (Plan) pillar of our IT team. This role will work side-by-side with the Sr. Manager, Software Engineering (Build), Sr. Manager, IT Operations (Run), and Sr. Manager, IT Security & Compliance (Protect). This individual will be the principal champion of Standard Process’ high-velocity delivery cadence. They will own the Agile operating model and partner with product owners, engineering, and quality assurance to ensure a reliable delivery of business value, driving measurable gains in throughput, quality, and customer satisfaction.
What You’ll Do
Agile Practice Leadership

Lead the evolution of SP’s Agile Delivery Framework (Scrum/Kanban hybrid)

Coach Scrum Masters & Agile PMs; run Scrum-of-Scrums & quarterly product roadmap planning

Embed DORA & EBM (Evidence-Based Management) metrics into dashboards
Release & Capacity Management

Orchestrate sprint-to-release rhythm with Software Engineering & QA
-
Maintain consolidated release calendar; partner with Sr. DevOps Engineer for go-live readiness

Forecast and balance team capacity across workstreams
Backlog & Requirements Quality

Guide Product Roadmap Manager to keep backlogs INVEST-ready and traceable

Facilitate story-mapping, refinement, and acceptance-criteria workshops
Continuous Improvement & Metrics

Establish “inspect-and-adapt” loop using lead time, deployment frequency, MTTR, escaped-defects, and team NPS

Drive quarterly Kaizen goals that improve at least one key metric by ≥15%
People & Talent Development

Manage, mentor, and grow a team focused on requirements and delivery management

Own career paths for Agile PMs, Business Analysts, and Scrum Masters
Stakeholder Alignment & Governance

Serve as single point of contact for Head of IT, product owners, and business sponsors on delivery commitments

Partner with IT Vendor & Financial Analyst to track R&D-related vendor spend vs. value realized
Toolchain Stewardship

Own Agile tooling standards (Jira Boards, Confluence, etc.)

Collaborate with DevSecOps team to integrate automated reporting into CI/CD pipelines
What You Bring
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Project Management, or related field
- Master degree is a plus
Required Qualifications:
- 10 years progressive experience in software/product delivery; 5 years in an Agile leadership role
- Proven track record managing people and scaling Agile practices across multiple squads (>2)
- Deep knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and at least one scaling framework (SAFe, LeSS, Nexus, or equivalent)
- Hands-on expertise with Jira (Boards, Backlogs) or similar ALM toolchain
- Demonstrated success improving DORA or flow metrics in a regulated or mid-market manufacturing context
- Excellent facilitation and change-management skills; able to promote continuous improvement at all levels of the organization
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications: CSP-SM/PO, SAFe SPC or RTE, PMI-ACP, or equivalent
- Familiarity with data-driven coaching (EBM, OKRs, Value Stream Mapping)
- Strategic delivery leadership & cadence ownership.
- Stakeholder alignment & executive communication.
- Data-driven coaching & continuous improvement.
- Release orchestration & capacity planning.
- Backlog quality & requirements discipline.
