Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Set up and operate die-cutting equipment, including the KBA Ipress 145 K PRO and Bobst Die Cutter, according to production specifications
- Read and interpret job tickets, layouts, and production instructions
- Perform make-readies, adjustments, and changeovers to ensure efficient production runs
- Monitor machine performance and product quality throughout production
- Inspect finished materials to verify conformance to customer specifications and quality standards
- Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues to minimize downtime
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation
- Perform preventative maintenance and basic machine care
- Follow all company safety procedures, housekeeping expectations, and quality standards
- Work closely with press operators, supervisors, and other production personnel to meet production schedules and customer deadlines
- Assist with training and mentoring team members as needed
- Previous experience operating die-cutting equipment in a commercial printing or packaging environment preferred
- Experience with Bobst and KBA die-cutting equipment strongly preferred
- Experience with large-format packaging or folding carton production is a plus
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read job specifications and production documentation
- Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer and production data entry skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to frequently bend, twist, reach, and lift materials
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work safely around moving mechanical equipment
