Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Coordinator plays a crucial role supporting the integration and cross-functionality of the marketing and sales divisions, as well as supporting the success of their individual initiatives surrounding brand awareness, engagement, and conversion. This role requires a highly organized, creative, and analytical individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Traditional & Digital Marketing Support
- Assist in the planning and implementation of marketing campaigns and projects across all channels including digital and traditional platforms.
- Social media implementation with emphasis on creating content and maintaining calendar and cadence, scheduling posts and daily community management and engagement including commenting, liking/reacting, reposting, saving posts, and responding to inquiries on owned channels and groups.
- Partner in the conceptualization and development of assets for all channels, including creating, proofreading, and editing, ensuring a consistent brand identity.
- Partnering with Director of Marketing on projects pertaining to influencers, partnerships, sponsorships, and editorial/ad placement.
- Stay updated on industry trends, providing insights for marketing and sales strategies, and support market research efforts by gathering and analyzing data on industry trends, competitors, and customer preferences and behavior.
- Support the development of marketing materials, presentations, and sales collateral, collaborating cross-functionally to help develop and maintain these materials; coordinate with internal and external resources to aggregate information to create compelling marketing content.
- Collect data and compile reports on marketing campaign performance and other projects with measurable outcomes, using native analytics and eventually CRM/marketing automation platforms, Google Analytics, and WordPress.
- Coordinate with website development partners on behalf of office and in collaboration with the Director of Marketing to support the management of the company's website, which includes WordPress platform maintenance and content updates (Store Locator, class registrations, orders, etc.).
- Amazon e-commerce backend support as needed.
Project Coordination
- Serve as a point of contact between marketing, sales and office teams, facilitating clear communication and information sharing.
- Collaborate cross-functionally within marketing and sales to coordinate the execution of various projects, campaigns, and initiatives.
- Develop and maintain process, workflows and project timelines, monitoring progress and proactively addressing issues to ensure tasks are completed within established deadlines.
- Prepare regular updates and reports on project status, campaign results, and sales activities for presentation to management.
- Scheduling and calendaring, including for any content calendars, as well as any project or content management software or CRM.
- Assist Director of Marketing in budget tracking and spend.
Collateral Inventory & File Management
- Organize and maintain digital files, assets, and physical documents related to marketing and sales projects.
- Partner with office staff to maintain print and apparel inventory and track spend on overall marketing budget.
- Maintain relationship with standing print and apparel vendors and traffic new orders and reorders.
Event Coordination
- Providing support and logistical organization for events, specifically Training Class, as well as other sales and promotional activities such as trade shows, open houses, podcasts and workshops on an as needed basis.
- For Training Class, maintain registration and communication in partnership with sales.
Sales & Customer Support
- Field general inquiries, complaints and other customer calls from sales and office teams.
- Onboarding new customers and piloting new dealers.
- Package and ship merchandise and sales materials, as well as customer care packages.
- Fulfilling internal and external requests for physical and digital sales & marketing collateral.
- Drive lead generation within targeted customer segments for in-house cultivation.
- Vet, implement, and assist in managing CRM systems; ensure accurate data entry, monitor lead tracking, opportunities and existing customer interactions on ongoing basis.
Skills & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably in a similar industry.
Strong understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and practices.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to create compelling content.
High level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Knowledge of graphic design principles and software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
Flexibility and adaptability to manage changing work requirements and varying volumes of work.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Salary : $45,000 - $55,000
