Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Document existing business processes through interviews, observations, and data gathering.
- Identify process variations and support efforts to align and standardize practices across facilities.
- Create and maintain SOPs and process flows using approved documentation tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
- Manage version control and revision history for all documentation, ensuring timely updates and stakeholder validation.
- Support communication and change management activities related to process updates.
- Maintain a centralized documentation repository, ensuring accessibility and audit readiness.
- Ensure documentation meets quality, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in audits and reviews to verify process documentation accuracy and completeness.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Technical Writing, or related field.
- Minimum of three years of experience in process documentation, business process analysis, or technical writing.
- Proficiency with process mapping and documentation tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
- Familiarity with knowledge management systems (e.g., Jira, Confluence) preferred.
- Experience with regulatory environments (e.g., GMP, SQF) considered an asset.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to create clear and concise documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support collaboration across departments.
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Ability to bend and stoop for filing and document storage.
- Ability to operate office machines (phones, copiers, computers).
- Light physical lifting (10-30lbs).
- Standard office environment with occasional visits to operational areas for process observation.
