General Labor(Often times, this is a key in the door to other opportunities) It's Happening, Standard Iron is opening it's roster to add to our team!!!The General Laborer is committed to: - defect free and on time at the lowest cost possible for our customer - prevent exposures and reduce waste at the lowest cost possible for our environmentReport to Street Quarterback or Street Coach.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned):• Follow all set-up and operational procedures to ensure accuracy and quality.• Safely operate forklift or other machinery in order to complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, staging and transporting products.• Supports production workers and staff in various production related tasks.• Ability to practice quality control requirements and to follow written procedures.• Using hand and power tools to grind and fabricate.• Operates all equipment in a safe manner and uses safe work habits.• Maintain a safe and clean working environment including complying with safety procedures, rules, and regulations.MARGINAL JOB FUNCTIONS:The General Labor role is not department or street specific.
